THE COMPANIES OF THE 21ST CENTURY
Nowadays, nobody doubts that the world is changing with a dizzying speed. Technology has become a fundamental part of our lives by totally changing our way of life. We can communicate with people who are on the other side of the planet in a matter of thousandths and without moving from where we are.
Like other facets of life, our way of working has evolved to adapt to the needs of the 21st century. As I said, what matters to the companies of the 21st century is talent, for that reason, the objective of these is to capture and maintain it. My teacher of training and career guidance, showed us a video in class, about the company of Google, being an example of a 21st century company. As we all know, Google is an Internet giant, which not only allows us to find what we are looking for in tenths of a second, but also to send secure emails, locate us all over the planet and work easily as a team, among other things .
But, have you ever stopped to think, how do you work in Google offices? While most office workers in the world work in ordinary cubicles, Google offices are more like an amusement park than a "serious" workplace, with slides, giant tents or even golf courses inside the building itself. The offices of Google offer all kinds of free services for all its employees such as massages and gyms among other things, to obtain a better performance of the work of its employees.
So who would not like to work in Google offices?
