The decision of a worker can have an impact on the rest of the team, therefore, article 29 of Law 31/95 on Prevention of Occupational Risks explains the employee's obligation to comply with the necessary preventive measures, both for their own safety as for the rest.


Article 1.258 of the Civil Code sets forth the duty of fidelity. Thus, the worker must be faithful to the company, acting with diligence and honesty, respecting the protection of data and confidential information to which he has access.


The employee must comply with the orders and tasks entrusted to them by their superiors for the development of their work, even if they are not satisfied with them, provided they do not violate any fundamental right of the person or the law.


The worker has the duty to act with the diligence required for his job, contributing to the improvement of productivity and business growth

At this point, all those duties included in the specific work contract, which are collected within the legal framework, are also included.
