WHAT ARE THE RIGHTS OF THE WORKER AND THEIR DUTIES? 1st part

When a worker has a work contract signed by the company, he begins to have rights and duties. Today I am going to talk about this.

What are the rights of the worker?

First, the employee has the right not to be discriminated against either directly or indirectly, whether by reason of sex, age, race, sexual orientation, language, religion or any other unjustifiable element. Nor can a worker be discriminated against as a matter of disability.

We also find the right to respect privacy and protection against a situation of harassment by other teammates or superiors.

The employee also has the right to ensure that his work area is safe and complies with the hygiene requirements, so that the company provides the necessary means to do so.

The worker will have the right to an effective working day and a payroll wage, which meets the legally established requirements.

Faced with problems arising from the employment contract or the employment situation, the worker may defend their rights and interests in case they are violated by the company. The right to organize, the right to strike and to negotiate is also included in this point.
